The Ministers’ Wives and Widows Ministry was established in September 1970. The Association adopted the Group under the leadership of the late Moderator, Rev. E.W. Wooten. The founder and president at that time was President Tempye Manor. The past Presidents include: President – Janie James, President – Delacey Green, President – Diane Manley (served twice), and President – Erma Tyler (served twice).

The Ministers’ Wives & Widows Ministry was re-organized under the leadership of Former Moderator Preston L. Harris in 2021, and Lady Danielle Dixon was appointed as President. We had our initial meeting on August 14, 2021, at the W.K. Raynor’s Headquarters Building in Jacksonville, NC. Lady Danielle Dixon is still currently serving as President under the Leadership of Moderator William C. Jones and Vice Moderator John K. Ponds.
